Erick Quay’s professional background encompasses leadership roles in trading, investment management, and management consulting.

Prior to founding E. A. Quay & Co., Erick worked for Bain & Company, where he specialized in advising private equity and hedge fund clients on investment due diligence. He also held the position of Senior Trader at Bridgewater Associates, managing the firm's overnight Asia FX desk and developing proprietary trading strategies. His career began at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on portfolio construction and investment management.

Erick holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, with concentrations in Corporate Finance, Financial Instruments & Markets, and Strategy. During his time at Stern, he was selected as a Portfolio Manager for the Michael Price Student Investment Fund. He also holds a BA in Political Economy from Williams College, where he served as Co-Captain of the Varsity Men's Rowing Team.
